BMC (Bulk Molding Compound) is a thermosetting composition consisting of unsaturated polyester resin, glass fiber chopped strands, mineral fillers, and catalysts mixed into a dough-like compound. DMC (Dough Molding Compound) shares similar formulations. BMC/DMC offers superior flowability during compression molding, enabling ultra-precise molding around threaded brass hardware inserts while delivering exceptional mechanical strength and arc resistance (CTI 600V).
